Whittington Academy has a reputation; a good one in fact. They are known for the best academic success in all of L.A.'s private schools. But that is not all that this school has. There is more behind those big walls that keep the students in. There are many different cliques; the best one being the Sexy Seven. Not the Fantastic Five, not the Tempting Two. The Sexy Seven. This group consists of seven fabulous girls: Juliette, Briana, Chantal, Fiona, Rose, Blair, and Callie. They rule the school. Walk the walk. All of them are flirtatious, and they know that they are at the top, and believe me... They act like it. Will you be able to be in the Sexy Seven? Or will you be plotting against them? Are you going to just try and not be seen? Goth? Cheerleader? Whittington Academy has endless possibilities and the drama just never stops!

Hello all, and thank you for clicking here. :] Whittington Academy is run by yours truly. Some of you may have heard of it before. It wasn't always run by me. At the beginning it was run by Juliette Golds. When we got the site back in order, I did not have enough administration tools to keep the site up. It didn't look as if the real admin would ever return. So, because of this, I created a new (and hopefully better) WA than ever before, with the help of the many faithful members and friends of course. On the site I am known as Logan Brooks. Just thought I'd tell you that. ;)
The entire staff is especially dedicated to this site. Staff members are Logan Brooks (I, admin), Trisha Lucas (moderator), Mutt (moderator), and Rose Parker (moderator).

Whittington Academy (commonly called "WA") is fairly active. Posting is constantly going on. The admin is also a role-playing freak so she is always replying to threads when she can. Our members are kind and fun in chat, and are a great pleasure to role-play with. We may not have a huge amount right now, but they are active, and we are growing at an exceptional rate.

Speaking of ratings, this place isn't reccommended for younger children. Be warned, as this site allows excessive cursing IC and whatnot. Rated R.

The new website address has been open since March 18th, 2009.

This is the time of Pirates...the time all hell brakes loose. A Pirate based role-playing game...based during the early 1400's. About slaves, sea monsters, legends, enemies. All over the world.

There had once been a well off pirate...his name is unknown to this day. He had worked through the years, and was aging quickly. That he had been lucky to survive all the hardships of the pirate's life...indeed he was lucky. He had captured a young Spaniard slave. She was quite beautiful...and at once she was called his. Surely enough had birthed him a healthy son, part English part Spanish. Just what he yearned for, so he could be the heir. But as three years past...a dark huge ship came sailing across the Atlantic sea's. How its sails were a ebony hue, and its wood was painted a unusual black...layers and layers of black, that it seemed to shine a dark blue hue. And on one side it read in dark purple, English letters The Blue Fang.

Nobody had heard of such a ship...a unique ship that seem to beam more brightly than ever. For it seemed young and fresh. The Blue Fang pirates quickly raided the crew...slaughtering all the men, and stealing the few women slaves...including his dear mother. The Capitan of the raiding ship, soon found the young three year old boy, who was more shaken than anything. He glared upon the boy, a soft smug smile appearing upon his dark lips. Shaking his head ever so slightly, as if he had a plan for this young boy. He dragged him by his collar onto his ship...his eyes spotting the body of his father slumped...and limp.

Within several days at sea...the boy never saw his mother again. It was unknown about what happened to her. But as he grew older with age...the memory mimicked in his skull. The Capitan of the Blue Fang had named him Truman Reed...a high proud name, meaning for him to be his son. And he would inherit the ship and its riches itself.

Since he had become nineteen, he and his father of the Blue Fang searched for riches. Eager for wealth and money.They raided small ships along the way, sailing through the Altantic towards the Indian oceans, and turning around. They both were adventurous men, and the faithful crew too. When they caught way to small ships, they raided them. Sneering along the whole way...both were successful.

One day, when he was becoming his twenty-sixth year... the crew stopped along a large tribal islands, nearby the tropical Pacific. His father lunged deep into the jungle, the crew searching the beaches. And as evening set in, a long while had passed. And nobody had heard of the Capitan. They waited, and waited....but nothing happened. They feared it was a monster that had caught him, and in the morning they searched the jungle together. Finding a corpse of his father, his flesh torn...as if he had been eaten by something...but the most unusual thing was...that a rope was around his neck and he was hanging from a high limb. The crew instantly feared the place...thinking it was cursed.

At once Truman Reed took over, sailing across the Pacific nearing the Atlantic. A couple years had passed, he sailed among the Atlantic, searching for islands along the way. A pirate ship rolled along the sea's, nearing The Blue Fang. At once Truman Reed, attacked this ship. Their crew raiding the deck, slaughtering men brutally. Lucky enough, Truman Reed and his crew had found small treasure upon the ship. The crew, so delighted with their captain...named him True Blue Reed. The name spreading across the coasts, he in famed with wealth.

He and his crew soon became called unbeatable. Pirates of all types fear the wrath of this stranger. He stole, and he found. Soon he became the wealthiest legend. And for years pirates had feared this ship, that scurried among the ocean like a dark blue wrath.

As he was among the Atlantic. He had captured a gorgeous slave...that had a mix of unusual blood. He at once called her his own, like his father before. She had birthed him a young son. He had called him the name of Von Reed. Proud he was of his young son, teaching him instantly about the blue oceans'. By the time Von had become six, a young sister was birthed. Eveline, she was named.

Years had passed. By the time Von Reed, had become the ripe age of eighteen, his father and his wife...had mysteriously disappeared. Mystery it was, like the whole life of the great wealthy legend Blue True Reed. They say that he had fallen together to the depths of the ocean...but people do not know. They fear, that he waiting....at the bottom of the ocean.

Perhaps you wonder what happened to the wealthy legend's son and daughter? They still live, his son now the Captain of the legend. His son, too living the legend, wealth is in his hands. The Blue Fang? It still lives, as young as it was when Blue True Reed had first laid eyes upon it. It still lives a legend, unbeatable it is still. And wealthy, and full of liveliness it shall remain.

Years ago, when two-leggeds reigned, dogs were captured and bred to do their biddings. They were often cruel and commanding to the dogs, forcing them to work, pull sleds, and even fight each other to the deaths for man's pleasure and profit. The dogs were bred and raised to think like servants and inferiors to whom man were superior and held mastery.
No one really knows what happened to man but they no longer walked the region. The dogs who had escaped their prisons began to think with minds unclouded by enslavement. They fought for survival, a battle against nature for their very existence and the odds were not in their favor. But they made it. Some bred with wolves to strengthen blood ties with nature. They became as strong and as fitted for survival as the wolves who lived for centuries in the far north.
The dogs believed that they would fare better in numbers so a pack was formed. A single, great pack was created and lived in peace for a while. But as time wore on, the great leaders passed with it and the Great Pack began to fall apart. Disagreements over leadership shook the pack, causing deep rifts in the pack itself until finally the single pack slit.
One became two as a group of rebels broke away and two packs were formed. They were as different as night and day, sun and rain, good and evil with hatred as the only thing they claimed to share. But as time passed on, the younger generations began to doubt the old ways. Some braver hounds have even began to mix and mingle despite warnings from their elders. Will love and affection split the ice that accumulated over the decades? Or will another war start, ripping through the lands and destroying The Far North?

In 1812, Samuel Carter went trekking in the flatlands of New Zealand. An avid cross-country hiker, Carter pushed all the boundries and quickly covered a large scale of land. Within days, he came across a fantastic sight. Covered in feet of snow, was a golden gate. It led to no town. It led to no civilization. It sat isolated and alone in the midst of the wintry powder. He quickly uncovered the gate with his tools and spent weeks shaping it up. When it was fully uncovered, an emblem was centered in the middle. It was a fantastic golden Raven- it's wings spread out and beak spread wide. He hung a lantern on the spikes of the gate and dubbed the future town Ravensgate for the sight he had just beheld. It is now the year 2009 and the town is flourishing and bustling with people. The sledding tradition of Ravensgate has been passed on for generations and Anna has helped and is still helping maintain a town masked by the beauty of a ledgendary sport. Dog sledding.

Genre: Realistic dog-sledding RPG. Wolf/Dog/Human/Musher.
Prerequisites: Advanced literate RPG. Chatspeak is prohibited.
Rating: G to M. Contains violence, drug reference, sexual reference and/or content.

The below-freezing artic water—cold enough to kill you in minutes—slaps against the frozen beaches of Hudson Bay. Majestic pines, covered in fresh snow, are the quintessential marker of this far-north land. In those dense, white forests, life stirs in the glacial weather. A figure, brown and gray all over, sleek and muscular, emerges from the camouflage of a tree trunk. Her prey is near: the young stag, unsuspecting. Around her, the rest of her pack emerges, ready to start the chase, the kill, the feast. The fledgling caribou raises its shaggy head, nostrils flared as he smells the wind. He runs, as fast as he can, back to his herd. The wolf pack runs as well, but not after the stag, for a minute later, a musher and his team come running through the quiet wood.

Genre: Realistic; Sled-Dog, Musher/Human, Wolf
Rating: G to M for swearing, violence, sexual and mature situations.
Requirements: Intermediate role-play skills (no chatspeak), 2 paragraphs bare minimum.

We Can Change...

So Siren it was... A Unique name, Rarely had she ever heard it, But speak for herself was she? Her name Merle' was a color, Mostly it was most of her breed. Merle' Blue Australian shepherd. Yes indeed that's what she was. Her breed wasnt all that bad looking compared to his. His breed seemed more... Well perfect. It seemed as if her breed was a dirty job indeed. Nipping at cattle's ankle's. She even used that technique upon human's, Which she laughed at much.
Siren's Breed wasnt that far from her's either. He too also had to nip at cattle's ankle's. How'd she know? The fur, Feature's and mostly on how the body would stand. I guess it was her instict to find what breed of dog she had ever met.
Sitting up straight, Her visionaire's met his. Not really staring, But mostly paying attention. She was known to flirt, But now wasnt the time. This Brute didnt seem like he was interested in her much. Although, he could be knowing she couldnt read mind's to find out. Her tail was properly curled around her bodice tryin to make her look somewhat clean and eventaully that would wear off fast once she got used to the brute, if they ever became friends.. Or perhap's more than friends.
MORE THAN FRIENDS? was she thinking to forward? Did she really like the look's of him so far? Well, She somewhat felt different around this brute than many other's. Making her feel more comfortable. Knowing she shouldnt get her hope's up, she just smiled her sweet smile at him and went on with her life.
Siren... What a nice name... God what was she saying? A nice name? Well come to think of it, it was pretty nice sounding. Actually, To come to think of it... This is my first time here... You come around here often? Her sweet voice spilled, But for some reason she didnt feel like she was saying the right word's. She felt she needed to say something else, But what? It was making her irrated knowing that she was starting off the wrong way.
Only a sigh was emitted as she wagged her tail once or twice.

Only If We Wanted Too...

» His brown eyes stayed on the fae, surveying her carefully. She seemed to be some sort of shepherding dog. He didn't know what it was about sheep herding dogs, but you could always tell that they were what they were. When he saw one, he would think 'That dog must be a collie, or some other type of shepherd dog.' It was like an instinct. He couldn't tell what kind this femme was; she appeared to be a mix. The fur was fluffy, kind of poofy even. And he wasn't sure he'd ever seen it in that colour before. Siren looked down at himself. He was a collie mix. Her fur was like his, in a way, because of how long it was. He blinked his eyes slowly. It seemed most dogs on the streets were mutts- there was nobody to force them to breed with anyone in particular, so they ran amok. Once again, Siren was reminded of that strange little ritual where you chose someone in particular to mate with. And suddenly he wondered if a female chose him, what would happen? He wouldn't know what to do.

» The female responded, distracting him from his thoughts. It was a simple greeting, but he couldn't really ask for anything more than that. Merle'... That was a type of... colour? There were certain breeds with that word in their names. Did the word Merle relate to her breed? Her fur? Or was it just a name? He let out a small sigh. Why did he always ask so many questions? He didn't seem to be able to stop. He then turned his attention back to the fae, smiling sheepishly, having completely zoned out there for a few moments. She was smiling at him. She had a nice smile- when of the most genuine ones he'd seen in a while. Then again, Siren hadn't been around very many nice people recently. He wasn't the greatest at choosing who to hang around with. Which was part of how this insecurity had come into play.

» “I'm Siren. You come here often?” His strange, carefree, if not careless, grin returned while his spoke, and it widened on the last sentence. He was obviously not actually trying to flirt with her, and was actually making fun of people who used that line. He really didn't see how that was considered flirting, when people said said. But he shrugged it off. His eyes danced with humour and with recklessness, and he seemed to give off an aura that was hard to interpret. It sort of suggested that he didn't care, but that was kind of hard to understand. Maybe it was sort of a warning, like a siren. That he was crazy- not in a way that was dangerous to others, but in a way that was dangerous to himself.

Type: Semi-realistic wild horse
Difficulty: Intermediate-Advanced
Activity: It was just finished today so currently now

Plot: The equines inhabiting the island Rymour are strangers to change. They have for generations remained seperated physically by the ravine that disects the land mass into two halves. Those on one side had always had the easy life, just as those on the other had always had it rough. But now things are changing. The canyon that had kept them apart for so long is drawing steadily together by natural forces and the horses on both sides now realize that they will be able to cross into the other's lands. War threatens as those who have lived a grueling life in the barren southern half of the island demand to be let in on the good life that those from the fertile north half have had all along. But as the winds of change rip by there is only one thing of importance we must keep in mind; There is no good and there is no evil. There is only survival and the different tactics used to accomplish it.

Winning is no game...

Thought's ran through her head as she rested there so quietly. Seeming to be undisturbed which was quit unusaul around the scrap yard. But that's what other's had told her. That many came here for the food that was left out at night, And that, That was what she was waiting for.
Laying there silently, another thought ran through her endless mind. She didnt know if Vir was really the true god or if other dog's actually believed in that stuff too. It was a hard decision as she grew up. Not being around her Family for awhile. Infact, what did happen to her family? She of course knew the whole story and she hated to tell it to anyone, and infact, again, she hasnt told anyone a single peep.She couldnt trust anybody to tell them what had happen. And having no siblings was easier than it looked.
Her dad was a tough fighter and almost alway's a winner, But toward's Merle's mom was a big difference than love.. It was diffently the opposite of love. Anyway's, That was how Merle' got her stregnth. From her dad of course. But on the other hand, Her sweet smile, soft walk, and look's, was all from her mother. It was hard trying to act tough, but yet it came out when she felt offened of any sort.
Then that one night, she knew she shouldnt of spoken to her mum about the abuse's... She wished she could of turned that around and just stick up for her mum and tell her father to treat her Mum with love and care. And now, Merle' could only shrug that off her shoulder's and just try to remember her mother's sweet smile, that had been passed down to Merle'.
Finally, she opened her visionaire's to another sound of a dog. She lifted her cranium to look toward's the brute. A soft smile appeared after she yawned silently and hearing his lyric's fill her audit's.
Why Hello, My name's Merle'.
Her voice seemed to spill out like honey as she spoke ever so gently to the brute in front of her. For some reason she didnt mind brute's at all, it was the other fea's that seemed to get to her most of the times. But fighting a brute wasnt any different then fighting a different fea.

But Game's can be won...

» Soft pads made contact with the earth. The soil was hard and bare. There wasn't a single plant growing in the scrap yard. Not a weed, not a flower, not a patch of grass. But there was metal. Piles upon piles of metal. Old cars, discarded scrap metal. And then, that was it. But there was so much of it, that you wouldn't that was it. From his vantage point, lying on top of an old, broken and rusty van, he could see the whole yard, from one side to another. The tall chain link fences that surrounded the place, going right around in a rectangle. There was little use for them, seeing as the gate was open. And they weren't much to look at, either, so why would they be there for decoration? Humans were strange creatures, but as long as they worshiped and respected dogs, they could do whatever they wanted to.

» It was so quiet here, even though the city was just behind the fence that served no visible purpose. Maybe that was why it was there- even though it didn't look like it did anything, maybe it was blocking out the noise, the worry, and everything else about the city. You had time to think in here. There was no one to bother you here. Because not many dogs- or people- hung around the scrap yard. He closed his eyes. Recently, there had been a lot of hubbub going around about the god, Vir. Was he really real? Siren had chosen to believe in him. But why? Where was the proof that this god existed? Did they believe in him because the humans did? And what was so great about reincarnation? What if you got tired of living? He supposed that in your next life you wouldn't be tired of living, because you wouldn't remember having ever lived before, but that was one out of six questions answered. He sighed. If he was asking all these these questions, he might as well ask the one that everyone wonders about too; why are we even here?

» Well, you know what they say. Some questions are better left unanswered. As long as you do what you think is right, it doesn't matter. But Siren didn't know what was right. He didn't even know who he was, as corny as that sounds. His thoughts were interrupted by the noise of another dog, walking into a can and making a rattling sound that echoed through the yard. Siren jumped slightly, then sat up and looked for the source of the noise. It was another dog. He watched her as long as he could without moving, but eventually he couldn't see her anymore. Leaping off the van gracefully and noiselessly, he padded silently in the direction she had gone, careful not to make any noise and choosing where he put his paws carefully so as not to rattle anything as she had done. Eventually he caught sight of her again, though she was now in a car. Hiding in the shadows of a car, he watched her, sizing her up. She jumped into a slugbus [what is a slug bus? o.o] and curled up. It looked like she was going to go to sleep.

» He was thinking of turning back, but for some reason he didn't want to. Possibly it was the fact that he hated being alone, even if being with people meant like he had to act 'cool'. He took a deep shuddering breath. He hated this, why did he do it? But the answer to that question reminded him of everything that he knew, or at least he thought he knew. If I didn't, everyone would hate me. He thought to himself. It was always the same answer- nobody liked a dog like Siren. So he had to act to fit in. He wished that people would just accept him the way he was. That would make his life so much more enjoyable. Pushing his thoughts to one side and donning his crazy grin, he dashed over to the bus. Then, giving himself a little shake he leaped into the car and sat down, looking down at the other dog.
“Hello there,” He said, grin still in place.

 Siren

[Quote]

name;
Siren

age;
Yearling

gender;
Male

breed;
Collie x Golden Retriever

physical appearance;
On the smaller side of medium, Siren is more of a collie's build, but definitely has a golden retriever's fur colour. His fur is long, silky and a beautiful golden hue. His ears are pointed and sit atop his head, his eyes are coffee coloured. His tail is longand wavy, and often his fur curls at the end, especially around his ears. The gold lightens and turns into a creamy white colour around his chest, legs, muzzle, and tail. Siren constantly has a reckless grin on his face, and his eyes dance with a carefree, fun-loving fire. Siren is a handsome dog, and he knows it. He takes good care of himself, so his coat gleams and is clean, while most other wild dogs are dirty and don't really care. It is hard to tell much about Siren from his appearance, but he isn't a very good fighter. He is a pretty good hunter though. He's fast, but not amazingly fast. He's pretty average in everything but looks. Then again, sometimes that can make up for everything else.

personality;
Siren is, to say the least, big-headed. He is obsessed with how he looks, and grooms himself constantly. Others often think of him as shallow at first, but they don't realise that he feels like his good looks are all he has left. The habit of grooming himself as much as caninely possible he inherited from his father, so that's really not his fault. When his family left him, the amount of lonliness that came over him was almost unbearable. That same lonliness is still in him, but he hides it by laughing, and acting like he doesn't care. And when he acts like he doesn't care, he does 'daring' things, that are completely insane and extremely dangerous. He is a big show-off, and not very popular by other males. Siren, when he's alone, is a completely different dog. Or when he's with one or two other dogs that he trusts. When you look at him, it seems like he has no fears in the world, as he walks across a ten-foot fence with a grin on his face. But really, he has more fears than you could ever dream of. Fear of rejection, fear of lonliness, fear of being alone, to name only a few. When you look into those big brown eyes of his, and see past the recklessness, you find something more. A desperate, scared, lonely dog, little more than a puppy lost in this world with no one to guide him.

Siren has forgotten what love feels like. And when you haven't loved or been loved for as long as he has, it's hard to even believe that it exists. That is exactly how Siren feels. To him, love is just a myth that someone made up one night, and that myth was told and re-toled to others so many times that people forgot what was fact and what was just a story. But that doesn't stop him with flirting with females, or even going further than that with them. He just doesn't really love them. It would help him love, you can suppose, if he actually knew how to. But without even a mother or a brother to help him with that, it's gonna take a lot more time than it would any other dog to fall in love. Despite all that, on evenings when he's on his own and sees two dogs together, a male and a female, it makes him wonder. Are they mates? If they are, why? What is it that makes a dog choose a certain dog to be his mate? Why not just choose the next dog who passes by? And, watching the pair with sad eyes, he wonders if he'll ever find out, and if he'll ever understand it enough to choose someone special himself.

Siren isn't a very strong believer in Vir, but seeing as he's got nothing else to believe in anymore, has decided to worship him in the smallest ways possible. He would never get into a fight with anyone over the religion, because everyone's got their own opinion, and that's fine with him. There are some things he doesn't quite understand about the god, but he ignores it for now and simply hopes that someday he'll figure it out.

history;
He watched from the shadows with a heavy heart as his mother and father started to argue again. It had started about how long it had taken his father to come back with food for the family, and how worried his mother had been, but then it had developed and evolved and had gone from subject to subject, until it was just mindless screaming. He hid with his brothers and sisters, shaking and afraid. The sight horrified them, it made them want to cry, but they couldn't look away. If dogs could cry, the four of them would have been sobbing uncontrollably. But instead they simply hid and watched their parents, who had once loved each other so much and were now going at each other as though it were a war. It was as though the four 6-month-olds were watching their lives fall apart right before their eyes.

It hadn't always been like this. There was a time when they had lived together happily. Their mother and father had loved each other, and the four puppies had been able to play outside, carefree and happy that they were alive. But then the fighting started. They couldn't even remember why. But their parents did not act the same. It had been happening for the past month, and it looked like this was the breaking point. Male and female alike looked like the wanted nothing more than to tear the other apart. But before they went to far, the golden retriever, the mother, simply turned and ran. She left her four puppies, her mate, her whole family. One of the female puppies whimpered and ran after her. The father, while the puppies were calling their sister back, had run away too, in the other direction. The three dogs who were left stared at each other. They had been taught how to survive, and they probably could by themselves. But they didn't know if they could bare simply leaving this place. Suddenley Siren broke too. It would hurt to leave, but it would be more painful to just stay, in that place where everything had gone wrong. He ran too, long and hard, not knowing or caring where he was going or what he was doing.

ooc: So museless. ;_;

bic:

The large skull of the brute turned toward the pouring heavens to spy the hawk as it made its cry. He thought it to be rather odd that any avian would take to the skies in this pounding rain. To be honest, Cabal was surprised that the bird's wings weren't soaked all the way through. Generally they kept to their roosts on such a rainy day like this. Still, Cabal didn't put much thought into it, for he was quickly distracted by the arrival of the wolfhound. The thick-furred mountain dog watched the larger hound circle around the vast lake, drawing closer and closer as time went by. Yet the Sarplaniac stayed put in his place beneath the trees just off shore. If the wolfhound wished to speak with him, then the somewhat goofy dog could come over here to speak. Cabal wouldn't make the effort to start a conversation himself-- he rarely did. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy another's company, but at times it was difficult for him to function properly in a social setting. So when the running hound began sprinting directly into his direction, a broad frown replaced the placid look on Cabal's maw.

Scarred made his query, and Cabal was left in silence, save for the patter of the raindrops that fell along his skull. A brief expression of confusion crossed features thanks to the question. He didn't think that he even looked like he was doing anything mildly interesting. In fact, he was just sitting here. True, before he had been pawing at the water, but even that was hardly interesting enough to question. Well, it was for Cabal at least. This Scarred fellow seemed to be pretty easily amused, though. "Nothing," the Sarplaniac responded simply. His tones were gravely and rough, matching perfectly with his outer, massive appearance.

Just as he had given his reply, he felt a bump along his flank, and then the soft thump of a fallen body. Cabal snapped his head over his shoulder, regarding the female carefully while taking a wary step away from her. It was a retreat from fear, just one that would allow them both to recoverer their much-needed personal space. "Hello.." He offered slowly and carefully. Both brows were raised carefully over his intelligent dark brown eyes. The fallen female before him seemed to be a meek, and even frightened individual. He wasn't quite sure why, though, because speaking for himself, the young girl held no enemies here.
