Thoughts of past lives and future ones were flying around in Furg's head. He sometimes questioned if any of it were true, and wondered if the question would ever be answered. Despite the fact that Furg was indeed a believer, he was not too extremely strong about it. It wasn't as if he refused to speak to any heretics. At times, Furg figured the only reason he was indeed a believer of Vir was simply because he liked to think that death was not the end. So many were afraid of the thing called death...so afraid of it, that they forgot to value life. For a time, Furg had experienced his life rushing by too quickly. He had not lived the past two years the way he had always dreamt of. Instead, he had become a mental, obsessed brute who only wanted to find reason behind his best friend's death. Yet now, that stage was over...Furg was going to live the rest of his life to the fullest, and when it came his turn to die, he would come back to the Earth once again, with knowledge of it, or not, he was uncertain, but he knew in his heart that he would come back.

Currently, Furg was on his way to the Red River. He found his throat extremely dry and he was eager to taste the delicious liquid. His thin limbs carried him in the river's direction, and his thoughts were fully on the water. The more he thought about it, the more thirsty he became, the more he needed the water. His pace picked up, and he was soon trotting. Furg's eyes caught site of the river, and his pace picked up to a fast run, his tongue hanging out from his mouth as he ran, reaching the age in hardly a minute. The river didn't look exactly clear, due to the red mud, but Furg didn't mind, his thirst needed to be quenched. Dipping his maw furiously into the water, he lapped up the water, sighing in pleasure as its cool taste ran down his once dry throat. Furg sat there for awhile, filling himself until he felt bloated.

At this time, Furg layed down along the bank, stretching out and feeling the sun beat against his thin coat. Closing his eyes slowly, Furg yawned and rested his head upon his outstretched front limbs. With that, Furg fell asleep in moments, though his senses were alert, ready to defend against an intruder.

Soft pads quickly pressed against the hot ground. Ears perked upon her gray and white head, listening for any sounds. The husky searched about again, not yet seeing another nearby. Her blue optics fell upon the river and she stepped forward to quinch her thirst. Hanging her head low to the water's surface, her pink tongue easily lapped up the cool water. Whisper was the vixen's name and a heretic she was. But she didn't nessecarily care for those who believed in Vir, she just loathed the whole idea of being reincarnated. So there is no paradise for those who deserve it? No sanctuary for those who wish to be dead? She rolled her eyes skyward. She stopped, raising her head higher as she caught the scent of the brute. She turned around to see him laying along the bank nearby. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and she let out a bark, announcing her presence if he didn't yet know that she stood there. She took a few steps forward, still watching Furg closely. "And who might you be, dog?" Questioned she in a low tone. She did not mean to sound rude, but it just sort of came out that way. Whisper sat down upon her haunches, still awaiting the response of the he-dog. I won't introduce myself yet... At least until he tells me his name first. The husky thought, eyeing the brute closely.
